Jaime S. Leal

JAIME S LEAL "Big Jaime" peacefully passed away on the 2nd day of February 2013. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Jose & Marie Leal and Mr. & Mrs. Isaac & Rosita Serna. He is survived by his loving family, wife Rosemary Leal, son Jaime C Leal Jr. & wife Holly, and his daughter Dana Margio & husband Paolo. Father and Mother: Mr. Jesse G & Criselda S Leal. Siblings: Hector S.Leal, Nora Alvarado, Regina Leal Vandervort, Melissa Leal Tey, Denise Leal Rangel.

He grew up in Seguin Texas, and Graduated from Seguin High School in 1975. He would begin his ambition for mechanics at SMI (Structural Metal Inc.) as a Diesel Mechanic. After retiring in 1987 from SMI, he continued his skill at Standard Gypsum before moving to Houston Texas. He started work for the International Longshoreman's Association at the Port of Houston in 1991 and would become a proud union member of I.L.A.Local 24.

He was a people person whom will be remembered for his, courtesy, devotion to family, love for the outdoors, and most importantly his faith in the Lord. He was an avid outdoorsman and spent his free time pursing his passions in hunting and fishing. He collected several trophies as a result of his outdoor adventures.

The visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster TX. 77598 .Funeral services will also be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home at 12:30 - 1:30 pm, February 7, 2013.
