She was born in Houston on April 17th, 1937, to Dr. Allan P. Bloxsom and Helen Mitchel Bloxsom.
As a fourth-generation Houstonian, she attended St. John’s Episcopal High School where she became a cheerleader. After graduation, Helen attended Rice University where she earned a B.S. degree in Art.
She married Jeremy Streeter Davis in September of 1960, and together they lived a wonderful life in Houston. Jeremy and Helen were married for 52 years before Jeremy departed. Helen was always involved in the arts in Houston and she and Jeremy worked side by side in the investment field.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Jeremy Davis, mother and father Helen & Allan Bloxsom, Sr., and her brothers, Wayne H. Bloxsom and Allan P. Bloxsom, Jr. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Allan P. Bloxsom, III, Carol Bloxsom Little, Paige Davis Andrews, and Waters Smith Davis IV, along with several great nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements are in the care of Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery.
