Gilbert was married to Rosemary Rodriguez Torres for 53 years. He was an air force veteran.
Gilbert "Pop" had a passion for spoiling his grandchildren and great grandchildren and riding his harley with lifelong friends Danny Huerta, Albert Chavarria, and Rudy Lugo.
He is preceded in death by his son; John Torres and infant grandson Levi Torres
He is survived by his wife; Rosemary daughter; Monica Torres Perez, grandson; Dominick (Jackie), great grandson; Logan, great granddaughter; Violetta, grandson; Ryan Jacob (Kathryn), and grandson; Mark Anthony, Jr. (Ashley), son; Gilbert Torres, Jr., granddaughter; Mary Alexis, great grandson; Isaiah, and grandson; John William, Granddaughter; Rosemary and her 3 sons, grandson; Andrew (Abbie) and great granddaughters; Leilani, Rylie and Aarya

A committal service will occur Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
