Grandpa,
  I am so blessed to have had a chance to talk about our lives this past year. God answered one of my prayers when you came to Vegas to see my mom and I. I have missed my dad so much over the years, and wish that he could have seen his grand children. I am thankful that you were able to talk to them, and see pictures of them. That's more than God allowed for my father. I will miss you so much, but  I am at peace knowing that you are not in pain anymore. I will do my best to listen to your advice, because I believe that God used you to carry a message to me. My son, Tommy and daughter, Brittenee-Jean and I love you and will always keep you in our prayers.

My brother Gene will always be remembered for his kindness towards others. My wife Susan and I loved him very much and will miss his visits. His love of his family was his most prized possession. The times that we shared together will not be forgotten. I was his baby brother. Our mother Katie often talked about Gene when we were growing up. I'm not sure he was aware how proud she was of what he had accomplished in building up his automotive business. Our mother loved all of her children very much. Our love and prayers are not only with Gene, but also with Sue, Kim, Michael, Janet and all of those who loved him.

We both love you very much. I remember how the three of us looked at a cabin in the National Forest and I told you how much I loved the horse they had in the pasture and you kept trying to buy him for me. It was that soft side of you that was endearing to us all! I cannot believe you are laying so close to where daddy is, I know God had a hand in your decision to be layed at rest near him.
