ERASMO HERNANDEZ JR. (PHILIP) died on August 30 at the age of 80 after a long battle with COPD.He was a long time member of the Houston Chronicle and a Korean Veteran. He worked at the old downtown Chronicle for 26 years and enjoyed a well-earned retirement.He is survived by his loving wife Aida Hernandez and his four children.
