Emilio Chacon, Sr., 80, of Houston, Texas, passed away November 28, 2019. He was born in Victoria, Texas on August 8, 1939 to Julian and Elisha Chacon. He was married to Hortence Chacon for 59 years. Emilio worked for the City of Houston for 30 years as a Heavy Machine Operator.
He had a passion for hunting, fishing, puzzles, cars, and (last but not least) a good cold beer.
He was preceded in death by parents, Julian and Elisha Chacon; sisters, Estella and Marcelina; brother, Abel.
He is survived by wife, Hardy; daughters, Pricilla and Gloria; son, Emilio, Jr. (Emo); many grandchildren and many more great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers are Emilio Chacon lll, Avlene Chacon, Allen Redding, Sean Renaud, Alex Medina, Robert Chacon, Adam Chacon and Aaron Chacon.
A visitation for Emilio will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A rosary will occur Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 6:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM. A reception to follow. Committal at Forest Park East Cemetery.
