Dorothy Magdaline Foster

She was born in Houston, Texas on January 17, 1928 to Irene Lemon and Homer Setty. She was married to Freeman E. Moore for 39 years.

Dorothy was a housewife most of her life. She was a member of United Methodist in Hempstead, Texas and had a passion for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and needle work.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene Lemon and Homer Setty.

She is survived by her children-Lawrence Foster Jr., Andrew Moore, Cathleen Moore and Patricia. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Sherri, Michele, Andrew, Jennifer, Denson, Brittanie, Lawrence, Damon and Angie; great-grandchildren, Lance, Jeremie, Elizabeth, Danielle, Bobby Jr., Jason, Nevaeh, Tony, Gabriel, Madiline , and Lexy; and great-great-grandchildren, Miyah, Ayden and Jaxson.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A Celebration of Dorothy’s life will begin at 2:00pm, followed by a committal service at Forest Park East Cemetery. Due to highway construction, the main entrance is closed. Please take Exit 25 on the Gulf Freeway and enter through the cemetery gate.
