Doris Ione Scholl Marshall died on July 13, 2024 at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital. She was born on August 13, 1927 in Houston, Texas. Her last residence was at Brookdale Pearland assisted living facility. Doris was an active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Dickinson.
She was predeceased by her husband Willam Marshall; her son Nicholas Marshall; her grandson Blake Marshall; and her two brothers Milton and Al Scholl.
Doris was married to William Marshall on June 19, 1948, in Houston. She graduated from Rice Institute (now Rice University) with honors with a degree in chemistry; worked as a chemist and as a full-time mother of her four sons in Dickinson, Texas. She was always available to help others in need.
Survivors include her sons, Milton (Marty), Karl (Judy), and Tim (Jane); her grandchildren, Michael, Marilyn, Austin, Travis, Sarah, and Melissa; and great-grandchildren Sagan, Noi, Boaz, Eitan, Riley, Louisa Jane, Esther, and Elliott.
