Delores Marie Scott, beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 23, 2011.
Delores was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1937. She began her life as a revered mother in Wichita, Kansas where she met her loving husband and companion of over 50 years, Jerry Scott. Together they spent their lives devoted to their 5 children. Through a lifetime of Little League, Beauty Pageants, Baton Twirling, Cheerleading, Drill Team, Football and Softball they tirelessly supported their children.
Delores’ kindness and compassion for animals was proved by her faithful love of her dog Fannie. She was preceded in death by her adoring husband Jerry. She is survived by her 5 children; Tonie Scott of Denver, Colorado; Terry Scott, Trey Scott and Vicky Miller of Houston, Texas and Tracey Thomas of Lebanon, Tennessee and their spouses, as well as 17 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren with one on the way. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park East, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas.
