David was born on March 7, 1973 to Van and Cherie Wyatt in Lafayette, Indiana. David was an avid soccer player throughout his adolescence and his passion for the sport only grew stronger when he played for Clear Lake High School. After graduating in 1991, he was awarded a full scholarship to William Carey College in Gulfport, Mississippi and later attended University of Houston-Clear Lake.
David married his wife Tracey on August 6, 2000 and they made their home in Friendswood, Texas where they were blessed with 3 children, Tristan, Noble, and Savannah. Many memories are being cherished that came from David’s generosity and his giving selfless spirit. David considered many close friends throughout his life as extended brothers and sisters. David was a believer in God and his family takes comfort in knowing he is with his Savior.
David was proceeded in death by his Grandfather and Grandmother Marvin and Florence (Flossy) Welfel, Grandfather and Grandmother, Carl and Catherine Wyatt, and his Uncle, James (Jim) Welfel.
David is survived by his wife, Tracey and their children Tristan, Noble and Savannah. He is also survived by his parents, Drs. Van and Cherie Wyatt and his sister Sarah Wyatt, and uncles, aunts, cousins, god-children, and numerous life long friends who will forever cherish memories of David they hold dear.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday March 2, 2019 from 2pm-4pm in the Life Center at Gateway Community Church located at 760 Clear Lake City Blvd, Webster, Texas 77598
