On September 12th 2017, Heaven gained an amazing soul. David Burrel Rowe "Daddy" age 60, passed away from this life from a courageous battle with liver cancer. He not once complained. David "Daddy" was a special man who profoundly affected not only his family but anyone who ever knew him and even those he had just met. His gentle and loving spirit was immediately apparent to all. His love and dedication to the Lord Jesus was his purpose, and he felt called to edify his family in the truth. He was truly the family's spiritual leader. He was steadfast in his devotion to the scriptures and never wavered in faith. Aside from his love for the Lord Jesus, his wife and family was his joy. After retiring from a successful career in new home sales, his most recent years were spent helping to raise his grandson, Noah, and spending time with his wife and family. "Daddy" was an avid golfer and, as with all of his hobbies, became a master of the the skills he performed. He loved competitive sports of all kinds - primarily football, as he was a quarterback in high school and college, and his family comes from a long line of professional NFL players. His love of the Dallas Cowboys has become a beloved family tradition that will carry on with the grandchildren. He was musically gifted and was a skilled guitar player. He taught his three children how to play at an early age and it brought them much joy to "jam" with their Daddy. His son Rusty shared his passion for guitar and will be the one to keep "Daddy's" music alive for all of us. Above all else, his marriage to Ruthelene Rowe "Bunza" defined who he was. Their genuine love and devotion to one another was the greatest example of a Godly marriage, and anyone who knew them understood they shared something rare. They delighted in each other and supported one another twenty four hours a day since the first day they met. They were an inspiration to their children and all who knew them.
Private family service held, future celebration date given at later date.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing"
2 Timothy 6-8
