Chad L. Addison, 47, of Friendswood, TX passed away suddenly September 28, 2022 in San Jose, CA. He was born in Bossier City, LA on June 29, 1975, to Tommy Addison and Phyllis Peel. He was married to high school sweetheart Rhonda Morehead Addison for 26 years.
Chad had a career in power generation and worked for Savannah Sugar Refinery, Cleco, and Calpine throughout his career. He had a passion for wakeboarding, skiing, weightlifting, camping, and above all being his son’s best friend and spending as much time with him and family as possible.
Chad was a hard-working family man, who put his wife and son first in all his life decisions. He had big plans ahead to build a forever home in the country that would put them closer to his son, Caleb, while he studied in college. Chad leaves behind many dear friendships made over the years and will be greatly missed by so many.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Addison and his mother, Phyllis Peel; mother-in-law, Sharon Morehead; grandparents, Minnie Lea and Ferman Lavelle Sims, and Adrian and Imogene Addison.
Chad is survived by his wife, Rhonda and son, Caleb Addison. Also a brother, Jody Addison with wife Michelle and their children, Austin and Aaron; a sister, Shawna Millen with husband Matt and their children, Rhys and Elyn; step-mother, Brenda McMichael; step-father, Mark Peel; many aunts, uncles, and cousins that are dear to Chad; father-in-law, Ronald Morehead and wife Carol; sister-in-law, Rachel Martinez with husband Jake and their children, Alayna and Barrett; and his living kidney donor, making him a brother forever, Jacob Gonzalez with wife Alicia and their children.
A memorial service for Chad will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home, located at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, Texas followed by a reception.
