Carlos G. Carvajal, 77, went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2011, in Austin, Texas. He was born March 24, 1933, to Horacio Carvajal Bonilla and Maria Bonilla Carvajal. Carlos was a longtime resident of the Houston area.
Carlos was preceded in death by both of his parents; his loving wife of 44 years, Flor Maria Carvajal; son, Allan Carvajal; five siblings in Colombia.
Carlos is survived by his children, Patty Carvajal and partner Megan Hartman-Carvajal and Carlos A. Carvajal and wife Susan; daughter-in-law, Sofia Lopez Carvajal; grandchildren, David, Nicholas and Avery Carvajal; two sisters, Martha and Magdalena; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will begin on Friday, February 25, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 1101 Hall Road, Houston, Texas, 77089, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2011.
