Calvin Beyer Walker, 91, Bacliff, Texas, passed away March 12, 2019. He was born in Houston, Texas on May 6, 1927 to TC and Celestia Walker. He was married to the love of his life, LaVonne Daniels Walker, for 20 years. Calvin worked as a “Jack of all trades” in the oil field industry. He might have even delivered your pizza! He was a member of the La Porte Masonic Lodge and the Bacliff-San Leon Bayside Lions Club. A very proud WW II Navy Veteran with his greatest thrill being the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. He had a love for fishing, hunting, shooting pool, and had quite a gun collection.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Tommy Lou Snieder; son, Donald Lee Walker; and the love of his life, LaVonne Daniels Walker.
He is survived by his daughter, Diana Walker; son, David “Linn” Walker; 2 grandsons, Jose and Tommy Walker; nieces, nephews, and numerous beloved friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas, 77598. A Celebration of Life is to be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 1:00p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 200 FM 517 Road W, Dickinson, Texas, 77539. Interment to follow at Pattison Cemetery in Brookshire, Texas.
