Caleb Martin Vasquez, 22, of Pasadena, Texas, unexpectedly passed away on February 23, 2024. He was born in Webster, Texas on October 29, 2001, to Martin Vasquez IV and Regina Tran. He was working with determination towards his bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of Houston-Central and was set to graduate in the Fall of 2024. He was so excited to continue through college to obtain his law degree and achieve his dream of becoming a lawyer.
Caleb loved his family and friends wholeheartedly, and his family and friends loved and still love him fiercely. His big, bright smile would light up an entire room. He was a sweet soul who made everyone laugh. Caleb never knew a stranger. He made an instant impact on anyone he met and had a remarkable ability to connect with people. Caleb was a follower of Christ and was compassionate and kind with a servant’s heart. He had a passion for working out and being the best version of himself. He loved challenging himself and was incredibly smart, which showed in his countless achievements in school. Caleb loved sports and was always supporting all his local Houston sports teams. He loved animals and cherished his many pets. Caleb loved to travel and see the world and had been to many beautiful places. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Caleb is survived by his loving parents, Martin Vasquez IV and Regina Tran, and stepfather Duy Tran; his sisters Ashlyn Vasquez, Sydney Tran, Sarah Hogan, and Sophie Tran; his grandparents, Martin Vasquez III and Patricia Vasquez, and Terrance and Georgeann Hogan; his aunts and uncles, Valerie and Nestor Martinez, Rachel and Jarod Hunt, and Joshua Vasquez; his cousins, Joshua Vasquez, Nestor Martinez III, Jackson Hunt, Allyson Martinez, and Shay Hunt; and numerous family members and friends. Caleb is preceded in death by his uncle, Travis Hogan.
