Betty A. Stoll

Betty Stoll was born in Mena, Arkansas to Ray Stafford and Ida Bell Stafford on July 7, 1940. When Betty was six years old, the family moved to Texas City along with her other eight sisters and brothers.

At 18 years of age, Betty moved to Galveston, Texas to work at American National Insurance Company. She continued to better herself by continuing her education and earning an Associates Degree. She moved to Houston, Texas where she eventually became an Administrative Assistant.

She moved to California where she married John Stoll and raised her two children, Kurt and Mitzi Stoll. Upon the death of her husband, she and her two children moved to Houston. She was employed by Hill Petroleum where she retired as an Executive Assistant. Betty spent her retirement enjoying time with family, traveling, playing bridge and shopping.

Betty is survived by her son, Kurt and his wife, Katy and her daughter, Mitzi; brother, Jim Stafford, brother and wife Mary; Jerry Stafford and wife, Wanda; Billy Stafford and wife Pam; sister Iris and her husband, Dan; and Helen Mays and husband Ed. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Miranda Perez, Danielle Stoll and Garrett Stoll. She is predeceased by her husband, John Stoll, her parents, Ida and Ray Stafford, her sisters, Marietta Pongratz and Frances Girard and her brother, Roy Eugene Stafford.

The family will be receiving friends and neighbors at the Forest Park East Funeral Home on Monday, December 30th from 6:00pm to 8:00 p.m. The funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, December 31st at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home.Jerry and Mark Stafford of the Second Baptist Church of Baytown, will be officiating the service.
