Arminda "Minda" T Dominguez

Arminda (Minda) T. Dominguez, 79, of Houston, died peacefully on June 14th, 2022. She was born in San Benito, Texas on October 7, 1942, to Charles and Maria Gomez. Minda was retired and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and dog, Mia. She was a proud member and officer of the Milby Hispanic Alumni Association and had a passion for black coffee, cigarettes, and living life “HER WAY”. Minda was tiny, but mighty; generous but tough; smart, beautiful, and funny.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, sisters (Dora Salinas and Lydia Saldana) and younger brother (Dr. Rey Gomez).

She is survived by her three sisters: Ninfa De La Garza (husband Hector De La Garza), Martha Araiza (life partner Rudy Reyes), and Rosalinda Morin (husband Philip Morin Jr.); daughters: Martha Rodriguez and Dr. Linda Rodriguez; granddaughters: Minda Puente and Brianna Rodriguez-Hernandez; and great grandchildren: Anthony Puente and Idalia Jaramillo.

A visitation for Minda will be held Monday, June 20, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A funeral service will occur Monday, June 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A committal service will occur Monday, June 20, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
