We wish to express our deepest and most sincere condolences to the entire Chavez Family.  We were saddened when we heard of the passing of a great matriarch as was Antoinette, who lived by example.  We have known her for many years, she was admired by many for her love of God, of family, her deep faith, which she instilled on her family, her community participation, as well as being a hard worker (I remember her working at a local department store when she was well age of retirement).  May perpetual light shine upon her.

Dear Chavez Family:  Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your beloved mother.  I met her over 40 years ago at the house on Sherman Street and from that first time and on every occasion afterwards, she was always gracious, welcoming, and kind to me.  Every time I saw her, it seemed that she was surrounded by her loving family, and in particular, the little ones.  It was quite obvious that she loved her family dearly and that the love was equally returned.
