Amy had a career in education and was a teacher for South Belt Elementary and Mae Smythe Elementary. She attended the University of Houston. She was a UH Cougars and Houston Astros fan and had a passion for teaching her students and playing softball.
She is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents Pablo and Antonia Rojas and Jose Guadalupe Chapa and Romona Chapa.
She is survived by her mother Rose Rojas, father John Paul Rojas and stepmother Cynthia Vantilburg; brother Eric Rojas and wife Allison; nephews Brayden and Heaton Rojas; stepsister Aimee Vantilburg; stepbrother Joshua Vantilburg and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends Friday March 29, 2019 from 11:30am - 12:30pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A Celebration of Life will begin at 12:30pm with a Committal Service to follow.
