She was born in Rosefield, Louisiana on November 29, 1930, to Joseph and Lillie Babcock. She was married to Raymond Girod for 41 years.
Alice had a career in banking for Allied Bank and then Wells Fargo. She was a member of Life Tabernacle, Houston, TX and later First Church of Pearland, Pearland, TX. She had a passion for reading, sewing, crocheting, and Hallmark movies.
She was preceded in death by husband, Raymond O’Neal Girod, Son, Raymond Douglas Girod, and grandson, Nicholas Girod.
She is survived by daughter-in-law Rita Girod, Son, Carl Girod and wife Deborah, Daughter, Jo Anne Gearen and husband, Mike, five grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Christopher Girod, Ryan Phillips, Jared Gearen, Jaxin Gearen, Jachin Salinas, Greyson Salinas, Ryland Phillips and Lincoln Salinas.
