Hi Gramps.
I cannot believe you've been gone over one year. Nor can I believe Gramma has been gone nearly 3 years. The world just doesn't feel the same without you two in it. I miss you both so much, and I know you are watching over us all. Just wanted to say I think about you often. I love you.

I was acquainted with Lou first through youth hockey and than through Midstates. There was never a time that it was not a pleasure to be in his company. It was my honor to know him . My condolences to his family. You and he will be in my prayers.

Lou was the greatest husband in the world.  Betty will take care of him from now on.

Lou was an incredible man and will be missed by many. May the peace which comes from memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days ahead. Our love and sincere sympathy are with you.

So sorry to hear of Lou's passing.  Got to know him while working @ Johnny Mac's.  Was such a kind and interesting man;  always quick to laugh and smile. To this day, at my office, I still answer every telephone call from a customer the same way Lou did, because I thought it sounded prefect... "May I help you, please?".  Would have been so great to have played for him.  RIP

Our loss of Lou, is Heaven's Gain.  Please know you are in my Thoughts and Prayers.  Lou was a Dear Friend, and a Wonderful Person

I don't think enough words exist to explain how much I loved and admired you. I miss you, and still cannot believe you are gone. I take some solace in the fact that you and your "pretty lady" are back together at last. Hello to Gramma Betty Boop, and the rest of the fabulous party that surely met you up there.  :)

Thank you for sharing Lou with us and the amateur hockey world in St. Louis.  His tireless and selfless commitment to coach and develop hundreds of boys and young men have made and indelible impact that we all will cherish, appreciate and respect forever.  A
He was always smiling and always glad to see you at the rink! A true HOF! Enjoy your new earned paradise.

Lou was a good man--he & Betty were like my 2nd set of parents when Jeff & I were LHS friends!  He & Betty came to my Dad's visitation & he only to my Dad's funeral Mass in April 2013--as he was heading back to his pew after he rec'd. Communion, he stopped & gave me a hug so I knew he was there!  Jeff, Betty & he are together now--all watching over Lisa ("Burn") & her family!

RIP Coach....they didn't break the mold when you came along...they'll forever be examining it.  You were a gift to the St Louis hockey community and will forever be remembered as a coach who always did it for the kids...you did it right...all thoughts to the family.

Thank you Struckman family for sharing Lou with all of us who played hockey. I was so happy to have seen Lou and Charlotte 2 months ago and personally thank him for all he did for St Louis Hockey. May your memory be eternal Coach Lou. Jim Demos
