Struckman, Lou “Coach” of Crestwood, MO passed away August 6, 2016. Lou was retired from Johnny Mac’s Sporting Goods, a hockey coach for over 40 years, coaching for Webster, the Junior B Blazers among several High Schools in the St. Louis area and was inducted into the Amateur Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009.
Preceded in death by his wife and best friend Elizabeth “Betty” Struckman and son Jeff Struckman. Survived by his daughter Lisa (husband John) Mahoney of Hillsboro, MO; sister Charlotte Neiswander; grandchildren Jennifer (husband Jon) Smith of Louisville, KY, Michael (wife Brittany) Hornung of Affton, MO and Jeffrey Williamson of Concord, CA; great-grandchildren Louis & Stella Smith and Fiona & Oscar Hornung. Our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin, friend and coach to many.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 14th from 3 -9 pm at Gerber Chapel, 23 W. Lockwood Ave.; Webster Groves, MO. Funeral Service Monday, August 15th, 10:00 am at Gerber Chapel. Interment with full military honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
