Beloved mother of Fred Lewis (Carolyn Lesser), dear grandmother of Dr. Frederick Lewis, Jr. and Elliot Lewis (Jillian), great grandmother of Noah and former 44 year docent at the St. Louis Art Museum.
Jane graduated from Webster Groves High School in 1935 and received her BA degree from Washington University in 1939. Her husband of 57 years, Leonard W. Lewis, preceded her in death in 1999.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 27, 2014, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Gerber Chapel, 23 W. Lockwood Ave., Webster Groves, MO.
Memorials may be made to Saint Louis Art Museum Docent Program as a tribute to Jane.
