James Andrew Callahan IV

Dear son of Elizabeth and the late James A. Callahan III; dear brother of Patrick (Judi) Callahan; loving uncle of the late Sean Callahan, Neil (Shannon Chapman) Callahan, Paige Callahan, Devin Callahan; great uncle of Jack and Mia; dear nephew of Janet Carole Smith, and the late E.G. (Bud) Reifsteck; and dear cousin.

Jim was born in St. Louis, MO, a graduate of Chaminade College Prep and Notre Dame. He was an avid sailor, ballroom dancer, and tennis player. Jim was self employed and spent most of his life residing in Orange Co, CA. He was a gentle man with a kind word for all and was ready to help others at any time. He was preceded in death by his faithful companion, his dog, Hunter.

Funeral services will be 11:30 A.M., Wednesday, September 24, at Gerber Chapel, 23 W. Lockwood, Webster Groves, where the family will receive friends Wednesday, from 9:30-11:30 A.M. Private interment in Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice or the American Cancer society.
