BROWNER, Eileen “Muffy” (nee Purcell ), 58 of Maplewood on July 23, 2011. Loving daughter of the late Dr John and Eileen (nee McShane) Purcell; beloved mother of Ben and Lucy Browner; dear sister of Dr. John Purcell Jr., Dr. Mike Purcell, Maureen Purcell Wood, Patty Powers and Mark Purcell; dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Eileen worked for the Washington University School of Medicine in the Aids Clinical TrialsUnit. She was an avid Cardinals fan. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Eileen--gardner, candle maker, overall kindhearted woman, with a great sense of humor.

SERVICES: Memorial visitation 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Gerber Chapel, 23 W. Lockwood Avenue, Webster Groves (968-2000). In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Fund has been established in honor of Muffy. This Fund will support the continued work of the Aids Clinical Trial Unit that was so near and dear to her heart.
