Curt Barry

Curtis G. Barry passed away March 26, 2016. Curt is survived by his wife Tena, children Justin (Lauren) Barry and Megan Barry, loving grandfather to the first grandchild on the way; brother Chris Barry and Candy (Paul) Lamers; brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Curt was the self-proclaimed “Baby of the Year” born in 1952 at Deaconess Hospital. He grew up in St. Louis County and graduated from Parkway West in 1971. He joined his father at RJ Barry Custom Homes where he worked until he retired at the age of 55. After proposing with a hose clamp, he married Tena Allen in 1979. His children were born in 1986 (Justin) and 1988 (Megan).

He was a master craftsman building custom homes throughout St. Louis County. After retirement he continued his carpentry work, building custom furniture that can be found throughout friends and families homes. He’ll also be remembered for his sense of humor and antics.
