Wilma Mae (Medford) Francis

Wilma enjoyed hand quilting, puzzle books, and gardening. She was also a longtime member of Ratcliffe Cove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Glenn Francis; son, Donald Ray Francis; five brothers, and two sisters.

Left to cherish her memory is her three daughters, Glenda (Stewart) Davis of Clyde, NC, Mary (Jim) Love of Atlanta, GA, and Margaret (Cleve) Ray of Silver Creek, GA; two sisters, Myrtle Sawyer of Waynesville, NC; Ruth Davis of Mount Airy, NC; grandchildren, Scott, Sam, and Keith Ray, Patrick McGaha, and Jeremy and Sarah Love; great grandchildren, Ashleigh, Brandon, Ethan, and Albah Ray.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, August 17, 2018 in the Chapel of Garrett Funeral Home with the Reverend Jay Jones officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Ratcliffe Cove Cemetery.

Grandchildren will be serving as pallbearers and Bobby Milner and Cleve Ray will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ratcliffe Cove Baptist Church General Fund.
