Virginia May Tidd Wallace, age 96, of , Maggie Valley, NC passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. Virginia was born on June 10, 1927, in Bedford, IN to the late Elza and Mary Spall Tidd. She enjoyed working in her flowers, interior decorating, dancing and singing. Virginia had a special love for little children and they loved her.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Wallace; several brothers and a sister.
Virginia is survived by her children, Kaye Matthews, William Willoughby (Lois) and Beth Corbin (Steven); brother, David Tidd (Janet); seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Private Services will be held in Bedford, IN at a later date.
The family would like to offer a word of thanks to the nurses and CNA's at Tsali Care Center for the excellent care and love they provided for "Ms. Ginny" and her family.
