Troy Candler Bryson

Troy Candler Bryson, age 89, of Waynesville, NC passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at his home. Troy was born in Jackson County, NC on October 1, 1935, to the late Fred Marion and Allie McCall Bryson.

Troy retired from Dayco Industries following 35 years of service. He was a member of Balsam Baptist Church. Troy was an avid bass fisherman.

In addition to his parents, Troy was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Bryson and two infant brothers.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Grace Louise West Bryson; and two sons, Denny Bryson (Mary) and David Bryson.

Funeral services for Troy will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 2, at Garrett Funeral Home with the Reverend John H. Swanger, III officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 pm prior to the service at Garrett Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at Green Hill Cemetery.
