To Steve's wife,
I'm very sorry for your loss.  I was in High School with Steve and we communicated via emails for many years.  I'm sorry I'm so late in sending my condolences.  I had been worried about you and Steve after seeing the devastation in Ashville from Hurricane Helene.  I finally did a search with his name and found the obituary.  Rest in peace my friend, your years of pain are over.  See you on the other side.
