Ruth Lee Cole

Ruth Lee Cole, age 94, formerly of Waynesville, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023. Ruth was born on July 7, 1928, to the late William and Julia Parton Inman. She enjoyed going to church and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Adam, Cedric, and Lewis Inman; and sisters, Eva Ammons, Alice Kynett, Edna McCarter, Julia Francis, and Thelma Pressley.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Doug Williams (Esther) and Alvin Lowe (Diane); four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 17, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Steve Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ray Chambers, Harold Stines, William Inman, Christian Inman, James Messer, and Matthew Messer. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
