Peggy Ann Caldwell Roberts

Peggy Ann Caldwell Roberts, age 74, of Waynesville, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Peggy was born on December 20, 1948, in Haywood County, to the late Dennis and Helen Moody Caldwell. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, working in her flower garden, and watching the wildlife around her home. Peggy loved her church and her church family.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Clarke.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, James Roberts; sons, Dale Roberts (Lynn) and Tony Roberts (Bea); four grandsons, Preston (Amanda), Spencer, Trevor, and Lucas Roberts; two great-granddaughters, Chloe and Everleigh; sisters, Margie Moody and Mary Jo Baxter; brother-in-law, Dave Roberts; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 7, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Kenneth Rhinehart officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
