Dr. Patricia Ann Johnson, age 84, of Maggie Valley, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Patricia was born in Ringgold, GA on October 15, 1938, to the late John Ralph and Virginia Mires Johnson. Patricia earned her PHD in Linguistics and taught at several universities.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her sisters, Carolyn Johnson Story and Rebecca Johnson Block.
Patricia is survived by her nieces, Renee Story Culpepper (Joseph) and Michele Block; and nephew, Jason Block.
