Nettie B. Frizzell

Waynesville-Nettie B. Frizzell, 90, died on February 24, 2016, at the Brian Center. Nettie was born in Haywood County on November 15, 1925, to the late Elbert and Victoria Mills. Nettie enjoyed working in her flowers, going to yard sales and spending time with her family. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and will be remembered for her helpful and generous nature. In addition to her parents, Nettie was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Frizzell; two daughters, Willa Strickland and Joyce Littrell; and several brothers and sisters. Nettie is survived by a son, Billy Frizzell (Kimberly); two daughters, Doris Littrell and Jean Carter (Albert); a sister, Molly Webb; 23 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, February 27, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Jerry Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:30 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
