Mary Ann Robinson

Waynesville-Mary Ann Robinson, 76, went home to be with the Lord on September 27, 2016, at The Homestead. Mary Ann was born in Haywood County on April 25, 1940, to the late Elbert and Ellen Hampton Moody. Mary Ann loved reading, working in her flower garden, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed attending church activities. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence, Ernest, Charles, Ray, and Carl Moody; and her sisters, Christine Adams, Inez McDonald, Alma Cochran, and Clara Moody. Mary Ann is survived by her son, Chuck Moody and his wife, Darris; a brother, Jimmy Moody; a sister, Frances Palmer; a granddaughter, Lydia Moody Griffin and her husband, Taylor; and her great-granddaughter, Haven Raine Griffin. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 2, in the chapel of Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum with Mr. Stan Roper and Mr. Ron Poole officiating. Entombment will follow. The family will receive friends from 1:30 -2:45 PM on Sunday, October 2, at Garrett Funerals and Cremations.
