Mary Pauline Winchester East

Mary Pauline Winchester East, age 84, of Waynesville, NC passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Pauline was born in Haywood County, NC, on October 7, 1940, to the late Vernon and Irene Wyatt Winchester. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with family, and attending church events. Pauline was an avid supporter of Tuscola athletics.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her brothers, Leonard and Bobby Winchester; and sister, Tilda Mae Winchester.

Pauline is survived by her sons, Ricky East (Daniele), Andy East (Amber); daughter, Nancy Fox McClellan; grandchildren, Dustin, Tyler, Bentley, Zach, Jake and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Liam, Luke and Millie; and sister, Jean Sheehan.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 18, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Alan Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Fullbright Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, April 17, at Garrett Funerals and Cremations.
