So many memories. We missed them when they left Oxnard and will now look forward to seeing them in heaven. Our condolences to all of the family.

Oh, I'm so sorry Marc & Lorene for your loss. I loved your family.  My whole family loved the Crider family! We were besties for quite a while! 
   I have fond memories of visiting your Oxnard house and smelling dinner cooking right before a Bible study. Those were my favorite kind of nights! I remember the smell of your Mom's taco seasoning. That was the first time I had ever smelled it. Right out of a packet! Something we didn't do in our household. 🤭
I remember your parents being so warm to me and my family.  I remember the sweetness, exhaustion, and fortitude your Mom had, when caring for her own mother until she passed. I was very young,  but I remember our 2 Mom's staying up late to share your Mom's burden through a hug & conversation. Your Mom, dear Lois, inspired me at that young age of 7 or so...to be as good as she was to my parents when it was my time.
   I remember your Dad's cool locksmith truck and his many gadgets. To my knowledge he's the only one I've ever known. He inspired me to have a job that was thrifty, transportable, and a skill that I could use to help people.  I know he didn't charge for many of his jobs. I have a similar job, & I do that too now.
   I know it's been years since we've talked. But my fondness and love has not faded. 
  And remember Lorene- We always have the sweet & spunky Chihuahua Tamara that we shared! And Marc- We have all our silly phrases we passed to each other over the years! Marc, Nacho Man Crider!

Sending  hugs and warm thoughts. I'm sad I haven't seen Lois for many years. I especially loved her hairdresser years. So bright and vivacious and I loved to hear her laugh. She also had a great big smile. I miss those days.

Nana Lois was always such a lovely blessing for me. I am so grateful that God blessed me with connections to the Peetz family. Nana loved on me when I was just a young teen who had recently lost my grandmother. I loved the opportunities I got to play cards with her and Pappa, and had the opportunity to have many good conversations with her. God used her in my life as an encouragement and friend. Nana loved Jesus, and I look forward to being able to see her again. My heart is filled with joy to think of young and renewed Nana and Papa spending time with Jesus in paradise. And who knows, maybe they are getting ready to play another round of cards.
