Jeffrey T. Phillips 1962 – 2015 Clyde, NC - Jeff Phillips, 53 passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015. He was born in Greenville, NC on March 4, 1962. Jeff worked for Anton’s Paint and Body shop in Canton for many years. He had a love of cars, hunting, fishing, sports, NASCAR, and the outdoors. He also had a great deal of love for his family especially his grandchildren and would do anything for anyone. He was a great man and will be missed by all. He is preceded in death by his father, James Robert Phillips. Left to cherish his memory is his mothers, Ina Christine Phillips and Gerlene Kirkland; children, Daniel Phillips and his wife Shawna and Julia Phillips and fiancé Jamie; sisters, Gayla Phillips and fiancé Geoff Last and Melanie Kirkland; grandchildren, Kaleb, Khloe, Aidan, and Kayden. Special gratitude given to Kenny and Sharon Riddle and Todd and Jennifer Stevens for all of their loving care. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 24, 2015 in the Chapel of Garrett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends the evening prior on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
