Jeanne, we worked many years together and shared so many stories 💖 our love for nursing and being Enterostomal Therapists let us travel together often in our younger years. I will always miss you my dear friend ❤️

Jeanne and I worked together at ADATC for many years and she was one of the most dedicated nurses I have ever worked with.  She was very caring and was interested I n those she worked with and her patients.  We had many good parties for other staff members and she was right in the middle of the activities.  Rest in peace my friend. You will be misses by many.

Jeannie was one of the finest professionals I have ever had the privilege to have worked with. We worked together on the ADATC acute unit for long periods on time and dealt with many kinds of crises in an environment  filled with high levels of acuity desperation , anger, and pain.  Throughout it all Jeannie guided the unit with wisdom , kindness, compassion , warmth and honesty. She was the embodiment of the highest aspirations of the nursing profession. 
   While we may not have agreed on every difficult decision that had to be made, we always communicated with thoughtfulness , respect and empathy.
     Generous with both her time and energy, she was a friend and mentor to me and provided caring and kindness to so many people whose lives she touched.
    She had those qualities of true human decency that I fear are becoming less valued and less common in the iincreasingly mechanized  and efficiency driven world of modern  medicine.
   Goodbye my friend…this world was a better place because you were in it.
    
   

Jeanne was always known as the best cook in the family with amazing desserts. I remember Thanksgiving with her and how she would go out and find the best deals and shop at stores on Black Friday soooo early in the morning. She was always there with a laugh, a story, and sarcastic charm that I will never forget. She always helped with everything from flowers to  decorating - it never mattered what it was. I hope you and mom are up to no good together and having a fantastic time in heaven. Know that we love you and miss you.

Dear sweet Jeanne,  It was such an honor and privilege to work along side of you. You encouraged and taught me so much and was always a great role model.  I love your sense of humor! I was blessed by being a lifelong friend of Jeanne’s (Kelly).  She was always there to listen or lend a hand. 

We lived together in Boston and San Diego and shared many good times, meals and lots of  parties 🎈 🥳

She had a kind heart and  generous soul. I will miss her always. 

Jeanne hired me as a new nurse when I came back to ADATC, she was an awesome mentor and  I could not have asked for anyone better to be there with me as a teacher and for support. 
She was generous and kind and truly cared  for our patients and her staff.. Jeannie was funny and enjoyed a good time, I loved working with her and  so many of you have described her perfectly and lovingly.
Now she is free  and I look forward to her celebration of life.

Jeanne Lund always put everyone's needs before her own. She was such a caretaker and that was made her the person she was. She will be truely missed by many. Until we meet again Jeanne. "Queen of cheesecakes" I will miss my birthday cheesecake. Love you and will miss you.

Jeanne you hired me at ADATC 13 years ago, you were always so good to me.  We always had fun teasing each other and you were so easy to talk to. You had a great sense of humor and you will be missed but you live on in all of our hearts. RIP Jeanne!

It was my honor to know Jeanne.  She interviewed me when I did a State transfer to JFK ADATC to work.   A professional, kind, and fun one.  She made the world a brighter place with her awesome smile.

My precious and dear friend, may you rest in peace. Our paths crossed when I needed a dear friend like you at a time of distraught in my life. You were my support  at ADATC, you laughed with me and cried, always there with those precious smiles. After we retired, I so enjoyed our lunches together at the little cafe. You  gave everything for patients and advocated for their  every need. The nursing creed was taken to the highest standards in the field.  You have left a,beautuful legacy to the profession and to your children that you,loved to no end. God Bless you sweet lady, you leave a hole in my heart.


Condolences to jeanne's family and friends.  She was a lovely human being.  Kind, considerate, smart, witty, always, always in problem solving mode!  She will be missed.

To all of Jeanne‘s friends and families I don’t even know where to start. I worked with her for almost 10 years through the time I was at ADATC. She always had a ready laugh and a Willing smile and never thought anything was beneath her to do. She supported the nurses and the patient in ways I will never forget. I truly enjoyed all the fun times we had together and also remember her amazing cheesecakes. She was so giving and so loving and I’m sorry. this world is not the same without her

Deepest sympathy  to Sister Leigh , Matt, and Kasey, and all of those who have known or been cared for by this friend,

I will forever  remember the times we shared , that special light in your eyes, and your love of laughter.
You gave so much of yourself,  your talents ,your time.
I'll stumble across several words from time to time , and think, am I pronouncing that right
 then miss that melodious accent that
brought me so much joy in conversation
over the years.
About every six weeks my chair will seem quiet, and I'll remember that again ,  my auburn  color has been over ordered, and I'll miss you !          My birthdays and holidays will come and go , with fond memories of a raspberry cheesecake with chocolate ganache sauce , that will never
taste the same.
Then I will remember that it's not over , and I will see you again, that your not gone,
you're just no longer  in my sight.

Rest in peace my friend, and enjoy paradise.
For your life was truly, a life well lived.
