Jean Grant

Jean Grant, age 74, of Clyde, NC passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Autumn Care. Jean was born in Haywood County on September 4, 1949, to the late Herman and Mildred Snyder Arrington. She enjoyed reading, going for walks, and camping. Jean retired from Evergreen Papers.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Grant; sister, Pat Rogers.

Jean is survived by her sons, Jeremy Reynolds (Kelly) and James Reynolds (Amanda); grandchildren, Josh, Hannah, Reese, Olivia, Lauren, Emilie, Meghan Reynolds; brother, Bud Arrington; and sisters, Joyce Trull, Linda Corn and Susie Arrington.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 16, at Woodland Baptist Church with the Reverend Adam Black officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service at the church.
