Hugh J Massie, age 83, of Waynesville, NC passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Hugh was born June 11, 1939 in Haywood County, NC to the late LJ Massie and Minnie Caldwell.
In addition to his parents, Hugh is preceded in death by first wife, Frances Massie; second wife, Helen Massie; daughter, Charlene Massie.
Left to cherish his memory are his four children, Hugh J Massie, Jr., Daniel Massie, Marla Sabin, and Kathilynn Russell; brothers, Chuck Massie, Wallace Massie and Nick Massie; and twelve grandchildren.
Memorial Services for Hugh will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made in Hugh's honor to the A.S.P.C.A.
