Frances (Crane) Green

Waynesville-Frances Crane Green, 93 passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Haywood House. She was born in Oconee County, SC on April 26, 1928, to the late Benjamin and Pearl Hedden Crane. Frances enjoyed cooking, tailoring, and working with baskets. She loved children and was an animal lover. Frances could always be depended upon to help a friend or neighbor in need. Most of all, Frances loved her family. Frances attended St. John the Evangelist Church.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus "Mack" Green; brothers, Homer and Hoyt; sisters, Etrulia, Florence, Rhoda, and Rachel.

Frances is survived by her sons, Ivan Green (Janet) and Shane Green; daughter, Cindy Way (Chuck); and one granddaughter, Abigail Green.

The family would like to offer a word of thanks to the nurses and staff at Pigeon Valley Rest Home, Haywood House, and Four Season's Hospice for their compassionate care of Frances.

A private inurnment will be held.
