Douglas Wayne Plemmons

Waynesville-Douglas Wayne Plemmons, age 68 Carolina passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. Doug was born in Haywood County on December 12, 1953, to the late George and Sally Fullbright Plemmons. He enjoyed picking Bluegrass, fishing, bowling, shooting pool, and taking his grandkids to the park.

Doug is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Helen Tate Plemmons; sons, Brian (Crystal), David (Tammy) and Kevin Plemmons; grandchildren, Louis Constante, Owen Plemmons, and Cason Plemmons; sisters, Jane, Maryjo, Doris and Shirley and their families; and brothers, Robert and Richard and their families.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 23, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Frank Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, October 21, at the funeral home.
