Dorothy Loretta Hampton Rich

Dorothy Loretta Hampton Rich, age 69, of Waynesville, NC passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022. Dorothy was born in Jackson County, NC on February 24, 1953 to the late John and Dorothy Hampton.

Dorothy retired from Champion Paper following many years of service. She was a member of Belmont Baptist Church. She was an amazing mom and grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Charles David Rich; daughter, Sherry (Robbie) Davis; step son, Tracey (Missy) Rich; and grandchildren, Cameron and Will Rich and Levi, Ashton, and Ashley Davis; brother, Kenneth Hampton; sister, Linda (Danny) Cribb; and her nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

Funeral services for Dorothy will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Garrett Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will private at Rocky Branch Cemetery.
