Betty Jane (Sutton) Beaver

Dalton, GA – Betty Jane Sutton Beaver, 83, passed away at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, GA. Betty was born in Haywood County on April 14, 1935 to the late Robert and Mary Ruth Sutton. For more than 25 years, she owned and operated with her husband a Jewelry and Leather business in Cherokee, NC, Dalton, GA, and Columbia, TN.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Beaver; three brothers, Robert, William and Edward Sutton; and a sister, Mary Sutton.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Laura Bridges; grandchildren, Heather Hardy, Robert Bridges, Kimberly Morgan, and Annie Bridges; eight great grandchildren and numerous loved and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in the Chapel of Garrett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Green Hill Cemetery.
