William Lee Jackson

He was born April 28, 1935 in Aleppo Township a son of Inez Leona Baker Phillips of Waynesburg, who survives and the late Jasper L. Jackson.

Mr. Jackson worked for Mayer China at Beaver Falls.

He resided several years at Oak Forest and was a member of the Quiet Dell Brethren Church in Aleppo Township.

Mr. Jackson enjoyed singing and dancing. His hobby was raising horses and chickens.

Surviving in addition to his mother are three brothers, James A. Jackson (Peg) of Waynesburg, Marvin Jackson (Sherri) of Graysville, and Melvin Jackson (Carol) of Wind Ridge; two sisters, Kathy Renner (Gary) of Holbrook and Cindy Anderson (Brian) of Wind Ridge; a sister-in-law, Jeanie Jackson of Beaver Falls; two uncles, Kenneth Baker of Beaver Falls and James Baker (Jenelyn) of West Farmington, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two brothers, George and Ralph E. Jackson.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11:00 a.m., Friday May 27, 2011 at Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg followed by services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Nelson Boon officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Wind Ridge. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Fairview United Methodist Church, 461 Jacobs Run Road, Holbrook, PA 15341.
