Wahnetta E. Garrettson Orndoff

She was born March 21, 1923 at Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Abraham and Pearl Tharp Garrettson.

She was a lifetime resident of the Waynesburg area.

She was a member of the Bates Fork Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess and Sunday School teacher.

She was married to Fred E. Orndoff, who died September 22, 1980.

Surviving are three sons, Raymond Orndoff (Donna J.) of Coraopolis, Gary Orndoff (Erma M.) of Waynesburg, and Randy Orndoff (Penny L) of Waynesburg; a daughter-in-law, Helen Orndoff of Washington; sister-in-law Victoria Garrettson of Maryland; fourteen grandchildren, Kenneth Orndoff (Wendy), Kim Taylor (Jim), Scott Orndoff (Audrey), Christine Zimak (Gary), Tamara Leal (Ken), Marjorie Orndoff, Gary Lee Orndoff Jr., Tracy Orndoff, Randall Orndoff (Heather), and Melissa Phillips (Edward), Doug Tuttle, Paul Tuttle (Heather), Ronald Tuttle (Mary Alice), Judy King (Joe); 26 great-grandchildren; a nephew, John Ketchem of Florida; two nieces, Virginia and Pamela Garrettson of Maryland.

Deceased are a son, Fred Orndoff Jr.; a brother Dallas Garrettson; and a sister, Eva Dean Ketchem.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High, Waynesburg where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2011 with Rev. Cristy Wise and Rev Larry Douglas officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery at Ruff Creek.
