Robin M. McGill

She was born on October 17, 1962, in Englewood, New Jersey, the daughter of John McGill and the late Violet McGill.

In 1986, Robin made Waynesburg her home and became a cherished member of her Waynesburg family and her church community.

She was a devout member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waynesburg, where she found comfort and strength in her faith.

Robin was a prayer warrior, and her kind and loving spirit touched the lives of many.

Robin had a special place in her heart for the Open Arms Drop-in Center, where she formed lasting friendships and found joy in the company of others. Her genuine care and compassion for those around her were evident in her beautiful smile and thoughtful gestures, which included sending cards on special occasions.

Robin's presence brought happiness to everyone she knew. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

She leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of her surviving family members, including her brother, Charles McGill of Hamburg, New Jersey; her aunt and devoted caregiver of 37 years, Carole Barrett of Waynesburg; her uncles, John Barrett of Hamburg, New Jersey, and Bill Barrett of Boise, Idaho.

Robin will also be deeply missed by her Waynesburg family, including cousins Amy Mackor and David L. Barrett Jr., both of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, Steve (Crystal) Barrett of Rogersville, Pennsylvania, Melissa (Brad) Burton of Washington, Pennsylvania, J.D. Barrett of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, and Bryson Barrett of Rogersville, Pennsylvania; and several other cousins.

In addition to her mother, Robin was preceded in death by her brother, John McGill; her uncles, Rev. Dr. David L. Barrett, Harold Barrett and Kenneth Barrett: and her grandparents.

Friends will be received on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 3 to 7 p.m. in The Behm Funeral Home, 182 W. High Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, where funeral services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11:00 am with Rev. Michael Haddox officiating.
