Bob was born on November 24, 1949 to the late Austin Hull, Jr. and the late Udoris Gaines Hull Turner. He graduated from West Greene High School. He married Betty Jane Thomas Hull in 1968. He worked at the Blacksville Mine 2 in Wana, WV for approximately 30 years until his retirement. Not one to sit on his laurels, Bob went to work for his nephew at Bill Wise Excavation for another 15 years.
Bob enjoyed hunting and watching The Steelers and The Pens and old Western shows, and spending time with his family and especially his grandkids. He was known to many as "Uncle Bob" and he was always willing to help others out.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Laura Jacobs (Mark) and Robert W. Hull (Jenny); grandchildren, Jessica Jacobs, Tony and Lucia Jacobs, Austin Hull, Alex Hull, and Zachary Hull; sister, Jean Wise; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jerry Hull, Cretta Hull, and Alan Turner.
Friends and family are invited to the visitation beginning at 5 PM until 8 PM on Monday, March 13 and the funeral service beginning at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 14 at Behm Funeral Home, 182 W. High St. Waynesburg, PA 15370; interment to follow at West Union Cemetery.
