Ricky Alan Teagarden

Ricky Alan Teagarden of Marysville, Ohio (formerly of Mt. Morris, PA) entered into eternal rest after a hard battle with pancreatic cancer at 4:10pm, Tuesday, November 21st, 2023 in his home in the presence of his wife, daughter and dear friend Shawn Hanson.

He was born Thursday, October 1, 1959 in Waynesburg, PA, a son of Cassie Evelyn Teagarden and Hiram Smith Teagarden.

He graduated from Waynesburg Central High School in 1978.

He was an active member and treasurer of the Lockbourne Road Church of Christ in Columbus, Ohio. He was employed by Colliers International where he was a Lead Maintenance Technician, a partial owner of Rouch Hardware, and a Maintenance Technician for Affiliated Dermatology.

In his free time he enjoyed kayaking with his daughter and helping others with their in-home projects.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Amelia (McDougal) Teagarden. Also surviving is his daughter Amy (Lane) Bowman, of West Mansfield, OH., Brother: Bruce (Kathy) Teagarden, of Morgantown, W.V., 2 Sisters: Karen Casto of Kenna, W.V. and Linda Johnson, of Morgantown, W.V., and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Proceeding him in death is his sister Anita Phillips who died January 5, 2022.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St. Waynesburg, PA 15370 Shane M. Ayers- Director where services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 30, 2023 with his friend Shawn Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery, Spraggs, PA
