Mildred (Bucklew) Lemley, 88, Waynesburg was received into Heaven on October 4, 2012. Mildred is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ronald Lemley. She is the beloved mother of Rodney (Marsha), James (Suzanne), and Paula (Jeff), and loving sister of Wildo Headley. Mildred enjoyed cooking and was known for her apple butter, apple sauce, nut rolls, and mashed potatoes. She found contentment in gardening, being faithfully attentive to her many rose bushes, and watching the birds. Mildred loved the simple things of life and living in Greene County. However, spending time with family was her greatest delight, particularly the yearly trips to the beach in Emerald Isle, NC. She leaves a legacy of 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurston and Anna Bucklew and 2 sisters, Pauline Bland and Lorraine Teagarden .

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm. Friday Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2012 with Rev. William Parker officiating followed by entombment at Greene County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 1100 Liberty Ave., Ste. E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
